The Friends of Old Government House & Experiment Farm Cottage, and Opera Bites presents 'The Fairy Queen by Purcell. In conjunction with Lachlan's Old Government House, enjoy an evening of sparkling music this fully constumed, semi-staged performance of Purcell's gorgeous Demi-Opera.

The Fairy Queen with dialogue adapted from Sharkespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, in two halves of 50 minutes each, will be sung in English. The theme of the evening will be an Australian fairy wonderland' complete with recognisable Australia icons and distinctly (hilarious) Australian fairies.

STANDARD TICKETS - $40 per person
Chairs provided, tea and coffee. Bring your own picnic.

PREMIUM TICKETS - $105 per person
Partake in a sumptuous three course meal provided by Lachlan's Old Government House as you enjoy the performance. Beverages not included - No BYO alcohol. Gift Certificates are available.
